Dry Cleaning Attempt To Hold Off Ratboys Album For #1
NACC 200 NOTABLES:
1] After reaching the NACC Top 10 twice before, and coming as close to the top spot as #2 in 2023 with their album, The Window, Chicago quartet Ratboys claims their first NACC 200 chart-topper this week. They almost grabbed that #1 last week when their sixth LP, Singin’ To An Empty Chair, soared from 24-2. In addition to finishing their climb to #1 on the NACC 200, they enjoy the highest point total for any #1 album so far this year. They also complete the NACC Hat Trick, as they climb from #2 to #1 on both the NACC NEXT and NACC Non-Comm Charts as well.

The NACC Community’s Top 10 Favorite Records of 2025
Radio music directors, DJs, promoters, publicists, artists, labels and more share their personal Top 10 favorite records released in 2025.
MD of the Month | Cade Brigmon, WIDR Kalamazoo, MI
“The 1975 or Dance Gavin Dance [are artists that I’ve discovered in the past year or so that have become one of my favorites”]. They were both huge blind spots for me, especially DGD because they’re post-hardcore, and I never really get into that subgenre. But 2025 was the year I finally got it; I can’t stop listening to either of them!”
Industry Interview with Makenzie Creden, Tiger Bomb Promo
“There have been so many highlights during my (almost) 3 years at Tiger Bomb, but my favorite might be Slowdive’s latest record campaign in 2023. Slowdive is one of my all time favorite artists, and to be a part of the roll out felt like such a high honor. I was lucky enough to see them in Chicago and got to attend an exclusive Dolby Atmos listening experience in NYC. It was an immersive campaign for such a legendary artist.”
