NACC 200 NOTABLES:
1] Phoebe Bridgers not only spends another week at #1 on the NACC 200 with her third solo studio album, Lost Weekend, but does so in grand fashion. Her fifth week atop the chart is her strongest yet. In fact, her #1 point total is the best this year and dating back to November of 2025. She also ties Dry Cleaning for the third-longest #1 of the year. If she remains at #1 next week, she’ll tie both Arlo Parks and Mitski for the longest run of 2026. She also rebounds to #1 on NACC NEXT and ties Dry Cleaning, Ratboys, and Death Cab For Cutie for the longest run at #1 there this year.
2] Two albums reach the NACC Top 10 this week. The first comes from Filipino & British artist Beatrice Laus, who records as Beabadoobee. She came on the scene in 2017 and has released four studio albums, including her latest, Pylon. She’s enjoyed wild success on the NACC Charts. In fact, this is the 12th time we’ve featured her here on our Weekly NACC Chart Recap. Her first and third LPs both reached #1. She takes ‘most-added honors’ this week, grabbing 87 Top 10 Adds (the second-most this year) and explodes onto the NACC 200 at #6 (one of only four Top 10 debuts in 2026 and the third-highest of those four). This immediately puts her into the conversation for #1 next week.
3] Also reaching the NACC Top 10 is last week’s most-added artist: Sylvan Esso. In addition to grabbing more Top 10 Adds than anyone else last week, the Durham, NC duo debuted at #40 on the NACC 200. This week they race from 40-9 to score their fourth straight Top 10-peaking album with their fifth LP, Ow ∞. They are seeking their second #1 on the chart.
4] We have room for a couple of other features this week, so one of our highlights is the biggest climber into the Top 20 of the NACC 200. It comes from English eight-piece, Ibibio Sound Machine. They are no stranger to the upper reaches of the NACC Charts. They storm 16-2 at NACC World, leap 21-4 at NACC Electronic, and debut at #10 on NACC R&B/Soul this week with their sixth album, Chopping Machine. The LP also enjoys the third-biggest climb on the NACC 200, rising from 97 to 18.
5] We normally don’t feature a biggest climber on the NACC 200 below #50, but with one more open spot this week, it made it possible. Enjoying the only triple-digit climb on the NACC 200 is Connecticut trio Perennial. Formed in 2015, the band has recorded four studio albums, including their latest, Modernism. They leapt from 172 to 69 on the chart this week.
GENRE CHART HIGHLIGHTS:
1] Irish quintet Fontaines DC enjoys a fourth week at #1 on NACC Singles with their latest song, “Marianne.” They continue to hold a commanding lead over the next closest single. The song spends another week inside the Top 15 of the NACC 200 and is the only single in the Top 35.
2] Latin jazz ensemble Orquesta Akokan ties the year-best totals at #1 on two charts simultaneously this week. Their fourth album, América!, spends a sixth week at #1 on NACC Latin (tying both Mexican Institute Of Sound & Meridian Brothers and Ana Tijoux) and a seventh week atop NACC World (tying Tinariwen).
3] After largely stagnant charts with #1s that spent huge chunks of time atop their respective pinnacles earlier this year, four NACC genre charts have suddenly become very fluid over the past month. NACC Blues, NACC Electronic, and NACC Canadian have each seen brand-new #1s each week for the past four weeks.
