Ongoing Dominance by Wet Leg | Major Chart Jump by Alex G

NACC 200 NOTABLES:

1] Wet Leg continues to dominate the NACC Charts this week, holding down the top spot on the NACC 200, NACC Non-Comm, and NACC NEXT Charts again. Their second LP, moisturizer, has the third-best point total of any NACC 200 #1 this year. Their second week on top gives them nine cumulative weeks atop the NACC 200 as well, which moves them into a tie for #10 on the ‘overall weeks at #1’ leaderboard.

2] Three new albums reach the NACC Top 10 this week. Making the biggest move is Alexander Giannascoli, who records simply as Alex G. His tenth studio album, Headlights, jumps from 28 to 4. He lands his fourth straight Top 10-peaking album on the NACC 200. This is also the third consecutive time he’s enjoyed the week’s biggest climb into the top tier.

3] Also reaching the Top 10 this week are Kokoroko, who score their first NACC 200 Top 10-peaking album. Tuff Times Never Last rises 15-9 while also reaching #1 on the NACC World Chart, where they rise 6-1. Adrian Quesada reaches our Top 10 for a second time with Boleros Psicodélicos II. The first edition also reached the top tier in 2022. This week he climbs 12-8. The album also tops this week’s NACC Latin & Chill Charts.

4] English singer/songwriter Jade Bird enjoys the week’s highest debut on the NACC 200. Her third LP, Who Wants To Talk About Love, opens at #24 and gives us our very first opportunity to feature her on our NACC Weekly Chart Recap.

5] Indigo De Souza has returned with her fourth studio album, Precipice. The Asheville resident has enjoyed great success at NACC. Her previous two albums were both ‘most-added’ the week they came out and also reached the Top 10. Her most recent release, All Of This Will End, reached #1. She collects 61 Top 10 Adds this week and enjoys the third highest debut on the NACC 200, opening at #34.
