NACC 200 NOTABLES:
1] Turnstile enjoys a second week at #1 on the NACC 200 and increases their point total and their lead over the #2 record. Their fourth LP and second NACC 200 Top 10 album also tops NACC NEXT for a third week and rise 9-7 at NACC Non-Comm.
2] Hotline TNT makes the biggest climb into the NACC Top 10, surging 100-9 with last week’s most-added album. Their third LP is part of a huge turnover in the Top 10 where half the albums are new. The Bug Club (18-4), Frankie & The Witch Fingers (16-7), Foxwarren (13-8), and Mother Mother (15-10) also reach the top tier.
3] Lorde lands the highest debut on the NACC 200 at #43 with her third LP, Virgin.
4] Sister trio Haim makes the biggest climb of any of the newer albums on the NACC 200 this week with their fourth LP, I Quit. They rise 130-17. But that’s not the biggest move this week overall. The Head And The Heart rebounds 197-65 with their previously #21-peaking album, Aperture.
5] Frankie Cosmos collects the most Top 10 Adds this week with Different Talking, her sixth studio album. This is her third time scoring the most-added album of the week.
NACC CHART GENRE HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK
– Wet Leg has the last laugh just in the nick of time. In their final week eligible to chart on NACC Singles, “Catch These Fists” rebounds 4-1 to score an 11th non-consecutive week at #1, giving them the most weeks at the top that any single has ever enjoyed. Their second album, moisturizer, comes out July 11.
– Adrian Quesada debuts straight out of the box at #1 on NACC Latin this week with Boleros Psicodélicos II.
– I’m With Her moves within one week of tying John McCutcheon for the most weeks at #1 so far this year at NACC Folk by spending a fifth week on top.
