Who Topped The Last NACC Charts Of 2025?

NACC 200 NOTABLES:

1] Snocaps end the year at #1 on the NACC 200 this week with their debut self-titled album. They ended up making it a little more interesting than we anticipated, though, as the gap between them and the Geese album they pushed from the top shrank considerably. The chart points between the two narrowed by roughly 3 1/2 times from last week. But in the end, they held on for a third week at #1. Geese does take over the top spot at NACC NEXT this week, up 2-1.

2] Three albums find themselves in the Top 10 this week that weren’t there last week. The only new one among them is the companion album to FKA Twigs #1 album EUSEXUA, which topped the NACC 200 in February. Her latest album EUSEXUA Afterglow rises 14-8 to score her fourth NACC 200 Top 10.

3] The other two albums that rise into the Top 10 this week have been here before. Kevin Parker/Tame Impala‘s fifth LP, Deadbeat, rebounds strongly up the chart this week, rising 17-9 after peaking at #6 the first week of November.

4] Also making it back into the top tier is Chicago-based band Whitney. They soared from 31-10 two weeks ago and were pushed back to #11 last week. They manage to rise back to #10 this week with their fourth studio album, Small Talk.

5] Collecting more Top 10 adds than any other artist going for adds this week is French musician Melody Prochet, who records as Melody’s Echo Chamber. She has something in common with the aforementioned Tame Impala, as Kevin Parker produced her self-titled debut album. Now on her fourth LP, entitled Unclouded, she grabs 53 Top 10 Adds and debuts at #55 on the final NACC 200 of 2025.

GENRE CHART HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

1] The year closes out on the NACC Singles Chart with a new #1. Rising from 2-1 is a collaborative single from Mumford And Sons & Hozier. “Rubber Band Man” is not to be confused with The Spinners 1976 hit “The Rubber Band Man.” The song recently topped the Commercial AAA Chart and now tops our singles chart as well.

2] Three artists rebound to #1 on their respective genre charts this week. Amadou & Miriam‘s final album, L’amour à La Folie (after the sad passing of Amadou earlier this year) rebounds 2-1 on NACC World. Alison Brown & Steve Martin rise back 2-1 on NACC Folk with Safe, Sensible And Sane. And Mavis Staples rises back 2-1 at NACC R&B/Soul with her 15th solo album, Sad And Beautiful World, one of the Top 10 best-reviewed albums of 2025 according to Metacritic.

3] The NACC Blues Chart has the fewest different #1s this year, with six albums rising to the top. NACC Heavy sees the highest turnover with 23 albums reaching #1. The NACC R&B/Soul Chart had the most rebounding chart-toppers, with ten albums falling from and rising back to the top. The NACC Non-Comm and NACC Blues Charts are the only ones to see no rebounding #1s.
