Did Dry Cleaning Enjoy a Thrid Week Atop The NACC 200?

NACC 200 NOTABLES:

1] English quartet Dry Cleaning enjoys a third week atop the NACC 200 with their third studio album, Secret Love. The album has the biggest point total the NACC 200 chart-topper has seen since the first week of December and also pads its lead over the #2 record by over 20% from last week. Dry Cleaning also holds for a third week at the top of the NACC NEXT Chart and dips 2-4 at NACC Non-Comm.

2] For the first time, more than one single occupies a spot inside the Top 10 of the NACC 200 at the same time. And it’s not just two singles. THREE singles find themselves in the top tier this week, bringing the number of singles that have ever reached the Top 10 to six, with just having doubled in the last two weeks.

3] Arlo Parks spends a second week in the Top 10 with her new single, “2SIDED.” She remains the artist with the two highest-charting singles on the NACC 200. “Weightless” peaked at #4 in 2023, and now her new single rises 7-6. She is also the only artist to spend more than one week inside the Top 10 with a single (twice).

4] Also placing singles inside the Top 10 this week are Mitski, up 13-9 with “Where’s My Phone,” and Arctic Monkeys with last week’s most-added record, “Opening Night.” For Mitski, the song is the only record to climb into the Top 10 this week. For Arctic Monkeys, this is the first Top 10 debut of 2026 and the first act ever to debut inside the Top 10 with a single.

5] NACC’s most-added album this week belongs to Canadian duo Softcult. Twin siblings Phoenix and Mercedes Arn-Horn started Softcult in 2020 and, after four EPs, have now released their long-awaited debut LP, When A Flower Doesn’t Grow. They collect 70 Top 10 Adds and debut at #118 on the NACC 200. They’ll be in search of their third Top 10-peaking record as soon as next week.

GENRE CHART HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK

1] Four genre charts see new #1s this week. Lucinda Williams, one of the most celebrated songwriters of all time, leaps 8-1 on NACC Non-Comm with her sixteenth LP, World’s Gone Wrong. Chicago-based duo DRAMA rises 3-1 on NACC Electronic with Platonic Romance. Critically revered blues musician Tinsley Ellis rises 3-1 at NACC Blues with his 24th album, Labor Of Love. And prolific British group Sault rises 5-1 at NACC R&B/Soul with their 13th LP, Chapter 1.

2] Three albums return to #1 on their respective genre charts this week. Brazilian singer Sessa returns to #1 on NACC World with “Pequena Vertigem De Amor”. Longtime friends and first-time collaborators Julianna Barwick & Mary Lattimore bounce back 3-1 at NACC Chill with Tragic Magic. And Mexican musician Silvana Estrada returns to #1 at NACC Latin with her second studio album, Vendrán Suaves Lluvias.

3] With new #1s at NACC Non-Comm, Blues, and R&B/Soul this week, we are left with only two NACC Charts with #1s that first reached the top last year. Of NACC’s 15 charts, only Hip Hop & World remain with chart-toppers that reached #1 in 2025. Danny Brown has spent all five weeks of 2026 at #1 on NACC Hip Hop (with two weeks in 2025), and the aforementioned Sessa rebounds to #1 at NACC World, though she spent her first week at #1 last year as well.
